Timothy Sammons Fine Art Agents was set up in response to a growing need within the art market for independent, specialist, professional advice to guide owners, trustees and those acting for them through an increasingly complex, difficult field. We operate internationally with offices in New York (Timothy Sammons Inc.) and London (Timothy Sammons Ltd).

Timothy Sammons worked at Sotheby's for fourteen years, first in New York and the Far East running the Chinese Art Department. He subsequently set up the Trusts and Estates Department for Sotheby's Europe to deal with the tax and market implications of owning and selling works of art. He is also a solicitor, a Member of the Law Society and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
