Timothy Sammons Fine Art Agents were instructed to investigate and report on the value and current market conditions for two contemporary chinese paintings by Zhang Xiaogang and Wang Guangyi. Having considered the relative merits of both an auction sale and private sale it was decided to sell at auction in Hong Kong following a pre-sale exhibition in New York. |

This pair of paintings were offered in the Contemporary Chinese Art sale at Sotheby's, Hong Kong in April 2007. They sold for HK$2,400,000 (US$307,224) including the Buyer's Premium. |
