| The Stanley Smith Collection of Natural History Books |
 |
|
Timothy Sammons Fine Art Agents were instructed to carry out an independent
report on the Stanley Smith Collection of Natural History
Books and make recommendations as to whether the Collection
should be held or sold. The report concluded that the
market was right for such a collection to be sold, and that
a sale by auction was the appropriate method of sale. |
|
A cohesive marketing strategy was developed with the auction house
to reach new buyers world-wide beyond traditional book
collectors. Exhibitions of items from the collection
were held in Singapore, London and New York.
